Crafting ritual & Community

local eclectic witches

Three Corners Pagan Circle was founded to grow and strengthen the Southern Indiana pagan community. By designing and leading public rituals and events, we aim to connect local witches so that we all find a deeper understanding of not just each other’s, but our own spiritual path.

Cold Super Moon

The final in the series of three super moons for 2025, the cold moon is in the middle of the lean time of the year. Game is scarce, crops are all harvested and stored. We are in the thick of it with our food and supplies rationed out for the year. This is the time of year when death is most near. We turn inward and rely on our closest family and community to keep warm and keep the ‘fire’ of hope alive as we all await the return of the sun and the abundance the warmer weather brings. This time of darkness or stillness between the seasons can be called a ‘void’ time as we are all simply surviving and waiting for life to return to the earth. This is a time of strengthened intuition and reflection. Take time to go over your goals from last year and reflect on how you handled things. What was successful? What took more time or effort then you had initially planned? Be honest with yourself and see what areas of your life could use improvement. Don’t shy away from seeking guidance both from your spiritual team and the community around you.

Sagittarius new moon

This new moon brings us into the darkest time of the year. We enter the yuletide season anxious for the new year, sitting in the stillness of winter as we watch for the first rays of the returning sun. With the warmth comes life and renewal to the earth. Time moves slow in anticipation, we can not force the speed of mother nature’s cycles, so accept the stillness and take your time to rest. Going inward we can ask ourselves the important questions and be better prepared for the future. What are your goals for the year to come? Seek advice from those you trust, while honoring your own intuition. In these dark seasons our intuition is at it’s strongest when we need it most. This is a time for renewal, contemplation and planning the first steps for the year to come.
