Midsummer 2025

June 21, 2025

Come and celebrate Midsummer with a heathen style ceremony honoring Sunna as the Wolf is farthest from her at this time. We offer her strength as she rides into the winter months. We will also honor Balder, son of Odin and Frigga as a symbol of lasting hope for the future.

Flower Moon

The May full moon is also known as the Flower Moon named for the blooming flowers of spring. The Full moon in Scorpio tends to illuminate challenges we might normally try to ignore. Scorpio full moon puts pressure on relationships, romantic, platonic and work. Everyone can feel a little on edge emotionally as Scorpio is a water sign with some strong firey traits. Be careful approaching controversial topics in conversations with people casually, emotions are running tense and people are more likely to feel ‘triggered’ and respond with impulse and likely won’t hear the deeper message you are trying to say. Now is a good time to practice your boundaries and give people, yourself included, some grace.

May’s New Moon, or the New Flower Moon brings us a Sextile with Aries in Saturn. Aries in Saturn forces us to move and adapt at the speed of Aries during times of great change. The small decisions made at this time have the potential to shape the outlook of our future for years to come, possibly even the rest of your life. This becomes exceptionally important to remember during times of crisis and transition with society as a whole. How will future generations look back and reflect on this time period? How will you feel when you look back on your choices during this time? While we are not being given the time to slowly analyze and calculate our decisions, we can make these choices easier by having a clear understanding of who we are and what we want before we are confronted with the choices. Reflect and meditate on your core values and beliefs and be ready to recognize what aligns with them so when this time comes, you are prepared for what comes your way. Your actions may be far reaching and shape something bigger than you could have imagined.
